Exfoliating means helping the skin shed the dead cells on its surface. The result is a more even skin texture, a complexion that reflects light better and greater receptiveness to the treatments applied afterwards.
In this selection you will find three different approaches: AHA acids for the surface, BHA for the inside of the pore and enzymatic exfoliants, the gentlest of all.
The most common mistake is exfoliating too much: once or twice a week is almost always enough. If your skin becomes reactive or unusually shiny, reduce the frequency. After an acid, sun protection the following day is a must.
