⚠ Warnings: Glycolic Acid 10% is applied in the evening only. Avoid direct sun exposure for the entire treatment period and always apply an SPF sunscreen in the morning. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Avoid contact with eyes, lips and mucous membranes. Do not apply to damaged or irritated skin.

Directions for use

Morning

  1. Foam Cleanser Make-Up Remover: lather on damp skin, massage and rinse.
  2. Time Balance Gel Cream: spread over face and neck until fully absorbed.
  3. SPF sunscreen: mandatory every morning for the whole duration of the treatment (for example Daily Shield Drops SPF50).

Evening

  1. Foam Cleanser Make-Up Remover to remove make-up and cleanse.
  2. Glycolic Acid 10% (3-4 evenings a week): apply 8-10 drops to dry face and neck avoiding the eye and lip area, leave for 3-5 minutes and rinse with lukewarm water.
  3. Time Balance Gel Cream: apply after rinsing to rehydrate. On evenings without the peel, apply straight after cleansing.

Tips

  • Start with 2 evenings a week and increase to 3-4 only if your skin tolerates it; a slight initial tingling is normal, persistent burning is not.
  • Do not combine other exfoliants or retinoids on the same evening. Recommended cycle: 30 days, then a break.

Who is the Restorative Routine for?
For skin with uneven texture, enlarged pores, thickening and a dull complexion, not sensitive. If your skin is reactive or prone to redness, an enzymatic exfoliation such as Enzymatic Scrub is preferable.
How many times a week is the peel used?
3-4 evenings a week for 30 days, never two evenings in a row at the beginning. The first few times start with 2 evenings a week and see how your skin reacts.
Is sun protection really mandatory?
Yes. Glycolic acid makes the skin more sensitive to UV rays: without SPF the risk is getting dark spots instead of removing them. Apply a sunscreen such as Daily Shield Drops SPF50 every morning and avoid direct exposure during the treatment.
Can I use it during pregnancy?
No: Glycolic Acid 10% must not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding. During that period choose a gentle enzymatic exfoliation.
Does the glycolic acid need to be rinsed off?
Yes: after 3-5 minutes rinse with lukewarm water, dry and apply Time Balance Gel Cream. Gluconolactone and the hydrating actives in the formula make the treatment more tolerable, but rinsing is part of the protocol.
