Dry Skin: Nourishing Treatments | Chrissie

Dry skin naturally produces fewer lipids, which makes the skin barrier less effective at holding on to hydration. The result is a persistent feeling of tightness, a texture that feels rough to the touch and a tendency to chap in cold or windy weather.

In this selection you will find nourishing creams, oils and masks with enveloping textures, formulated with ceramides, collagen and emollient agents that help replenish the lipid film and maintain comfort for longer.

Unlike dehydrated skin, what is needed here are rich rather than light formulas. If dryness worsens in the cold months, read how to adapt your routine to the change of season.
